The modern American tavern partners with Our Whisky Foundation to lead the charge for women in whiskey worldwide
Dallas, TX (RestaurantNews.com) Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar is turning up the heat this March for Women’s History Month with its “Women in Whiskey” campaign. Get ready to sip, savor, and celebrate the badass women shaking up the whiskey scene like never before!
Starting March 1, Whiskey Cake invites guests to celebrate the fiercest females in the industry with the “Women in Whiskey” flight. Featuring trailblazers like Elizabeth McCall of Woodford Reserve, Nicole Austin of George Dickel, Liz Rhoades and Meghan Ireland of WhistlePig and Kate Latts and Lynn House from Heaven Hill, this flight will have guests raising a glass to female empowerment with every sip.
In addition, a signature cocktail, “The Great Kate,” will be offered as a tribute to the incomparable Katharine Hepburn and the one-of-a-kind Melissa Taft, Master Taster of Old Forester. Crafted with Old Forester bourbon, local honey, lemon, and a splash of sparkling rosé, this drink packs a punch worthy of the leading ladies it honors.
With every flight and cocktail purchased, guests will be supporting Our Whisky Foundation, the world’s first nonprofit dedicated to supporting, recognizing, and empowering women in whiskey across the globe.
Pricing:
Women in Whiskey Flight: $23
The Great Kate Cocktail: $13
Cheers to women making history, one dram at a time! Because at Whiskey Cake, we believe in raising the bar, smashing stereotypes, and pouring a little liquid courage into the fight for equality.
